Hola Sol is a sun-soaked reclamation of your soul, a chance to return to your essential self through nourishing movement, gentle exploration, warm ocean air, and playful connection. We gather in San Agustinillo nestled between jungle and sea, to slow down, soak up, and say hello to what matters most.
This is not your average yoga retreat—we’re looking for all genders, all levels of practice, and our aim is to make the retreat experience as accessible as we can. It’s a casual, intimate, and insightful week of guided practice, free and flowing afternoons, meaningful conversation, and soul-stirring rituals designed to help you reclaim what you may have forgotten: that you are whole, wise, and wonderfully alive exactly as you are.

Lisa Messina, founder of The Messina Movement, brings decades of movement wisdom, somatic insight, and soul-centered facilitation to every gathering. This retreat is an expression of her deepest offerings: presence, play, and embodiment.

Our Daily Flow
07:00–7:45 AM – Smoothie, fruit, coffee
08:00–9:00 AM – Morning Practice (movement, breath, meditation)
10:15–11:15 AM – Brunch
11:30 AM–4:00 PM – Free Time (beach, nap, explore, reflect)
4:00–4:45 PM – Snack (nuts or fruit)
5:00–6:30 PM – Evening Practice (movement, journaling, discussion)
7:00–8:30 PM – Dinner
Getting There & Staying Longer
We suggest arriving on Friday, November 21 and staying through Friday, November 28 if possible.
Most return flights from HUX leave early Wednesday morning and require a stopover. Direct flights are available on Friday mornings to Canada.
Monte Uzulu has generously discounted the extra nights, exclusively to our retreat guests, so you are encouraged to use the extra time post-retreat to integrate, rest, and enjoy!
